A light bulb screws in underneath and a mirror projects any flat image placed under the projector onto the surface in front of the projector, allowing you to take or interact with a larger version of this image (2x to 14x larger). I used it to turn small sketches into larger paintings/drawings. This is an excellent, durable and lightweight tool for the experienced, new artist, or young child who loves to trace and draw!
