  • Condition: This is a set of Kluson No line plate tuners from 1951, with new buttons. They will work on Les Paul Specials or Juniors or J-45 Gibsons, Gibson ES, as well as many other guitars. The Gears are all original the Plastic Buttons were replaced as I would expect just about every set of this vintage Kluson gears would have replacement buttons they all turn to dust eventually, but they were upgraded to the better looking keystone buttons. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Take a good look at the pictures, please notice the surface rust, imperfections in the alignment heights of the buttons, etc. Anything in pictures other than the tuners are not a part of this auction.     VINTAGE KLUSON DELUXE 3X3 PLATE  GUITAR TUNERS / MACHINES, THESE WILL WORK ON  LES PAUL JR  GIBSON J-45 OR J-50 FROM THE MID 50'S ERA, GIBSON ES, ETC. THESE MAY ALSO WORK FOR SOME OTHER GUITARS. Taken from my Gibson ES archtop. I will replace with cheaper relic tuners because I need the cash. My loss is your gain!
    These are in working order. Some turn more smoothly than others, and I have not lubricated them. They show a lot of age, which I think is gorgeous. The buttons are replacement plastic buttons, see the pictures.  Great  real vintage tuners and much better than relic or fake aged tuners. These may be right for many guitars from the mid 50's. Please check with your guitar to see if these are correct, before you purchase, I do not accept returns.
    These are original tuners not reproductions or reissues. The buttons are new, and from China. Some of the washers are reproductions, as there were a few missing. I can't tell which ones are the original washers and which ones are the original washers.
