Vintage 1960's Grover "Patent Pending" Tuner Set
Wow - what a find! These are RARE and some of the best tuners on the plant.
This is an authentic 1960's set of "skinny shaft" Grovers in Chrome finish.
These were available on high end Gibson models of the era such as the ES-5 and Les Paul Custom,  They were also available as a custom order upgrade from the Gibson factory for any model guitar.
A frequent upgrade for a vintage Les Paul, these original Grovers have a much smaller diameter shaft than their modern counterparts which requires very little (or sometimes no) reaming of the kluson tuner shaft hole.
It's also widely agreed upon that these tuners add to the overall mass and tonally quality of any vintage guitar and make the guitar sound better than it previously had with Klusons!
All original mounting hardware (screws and screw on bushings) are included as pictured.
